Vào năm 1978 các nhà khảo cổ đã phát hiện ra ở tỉnh Gyeonggi, thuộc Korea South những di tích khảo sổ thuộc kỷ nguyên Paleolítica. Sau khi khai quật và nghiên cứu các nhà khảo cổ đã tìm thấy nhiều dấu tích tại địa điểm này, nó đã bị bác bỏ trước khi được chấp nhận, đó là sự phát triển giao thoa không đồng dạng thời tiền sử giữa phía Đông và phía Tây.

Phương án của các KTS, appears like a three-dimensional front door to the site of the excavation and the network of footpaths that allow to cross wells. Of this form one looks for to canalize the flow of all the visitors of the land through the building, being fomented the contact with the objects in exhibition.
The resulting building has a changing character as one crosses it, becoming of building-bridge with views to the surrounding landscape (where are the lobby and the bar) in a halfed-bury building, illuminated through patios, where the exhibition spaces are developed.
